There were also a number of show-quality cars and interesting vehicles that really made the event worth attending. The TR86, an early Honda sports car, was a beautiful machine. The car was a show-stopper and it was nice to meet the owner who was getting ready to sell it. The owner's lucky find is a 1993 Ninja. The car has been restored and is now one of the nicest examples of the model. The owner had managed to get two very nice owners to purchase the car together. The car we drove was also an original.
The grandstand was set up with NSX models and also the very cool white 1968 “LJ-37” Roadster that was used for the publicity photos last year. The new NSX was located next to it on a ramp overlooking the on-site parking.
The next type of show car was a '68 Camaro convertible, followed by a '67 Camaro convertible, a '66 Porsche 911, a '66 Jaguar XKE, a 1957 Chevy Bel Air Model B, a '68 Chevrolet Chevelle SS/RS, a 1965 Mustang, and a '68 Cord 810 sedan. The Bugattis and Ferraris came next, followed by a spectacular '38 Ford Model A, a '41 Ford Model A Sedan, and a '50 Ford Model A Sedan.
There were lots of different cars and models. They were all well cared for, all with a superb showmanship. One could see a custom painted car, another meticulously detailed, and a third with a wild paint job. One guy had a yellow '66 Camaro with a white top and white stripe and black flames all over, and another had a Camaro with a star on the hood. One had a white convertible with a blue stripe, and the other had a red convertible with a blue stripe.
