BB: Most of my park activations involve doing the “weird,” non-traditional activations. People don’t expect to see a man in a gorilla suit walking around, and they don’t expect to see people handing out golf balls and pencils. That’s why this activation is so successful. I know that the people who come to see these activations are having a good time, and are getting a great deal of enjoyment out of it. That’s what makes it successful. When we do these activations we are in the park with the people, not in a booth like a typical activation, so people are more interested. And I think the fact that people are not expecting to see these activations, it allows them to be more surprised. If you have a typical activation, then people are expecting a lot of visual stimulation. Our activations draw attention and entertainment, and that’s a really valuable thing, especially in parks.
