In PCWorld, three new planes are featured in the game, with an additional three available via DLC for those wishing to purchase the full package. The Verenyigung Langsdorf (or VL, Lightning Corporation of Germany) is a fully Swedish-built aircraft with an everyday flight of owning one.
The Boeing 737 Classic has large wings and the capacity to accommodate 250 passengers. The Stratoliner is a Boeing 707 that is wider than a 737 but carries only 60 passengers, and the Lockheed L-188 Electra makes up for its lack of cabin space with its four engines and a capacity of about 100 passengers. Finally, the Airbus A320, the workhorse of the 737 family, is the largest of the bunch with three of the sale.
The full game comes with a single aircraft, the Cessna 172 Skyhawk P42D. PC players can rent it for two hours, for $1.99 (USD), or purchase it at $39.99 (USD), the latter paying for the aircraft in-game at $99.99 (USD). The EA version of the game, on the other hand, is available at $59.99 (USD) initially, then at $59.99 (USD) with each additional plane afterwards. Two more free planes will also be added, the Piper Warrior and de Havilland Chipmunk.
Three new planes can be purchased for $59.99 (USD) in the full package, which includes EA's online multiplayer capabilities. The Interactive Aviation Corporation intends to sell all of these planes in the free upgrade for $39.99 (USD). d2c66b5586
