It took me to a page where I had to enter my serial number and then it loaded the game. I did not have to activate it. I just like all the customization options.
You are right, I'd just been sending it to Win7 with no problems. I have no idea how the Crashes on me. I am glad that I am not alone with this one. I am going to load it up and see if I can figure out where the download is.
The only problem I had is that it loaded the game and then hung and would not load any other games. It would either load and hang forever or load and then crash. I reset the computer and uninstalled all of my games and reinstalled them one by one. One by one the game started working but it would hang and crash with all of them. I chose the ones that I wanted to have installed. I even got the extra ones for the game. It loaded the game just fine. I was happy that it finally worked. So I deleted the game and the mods and then loaded it up.

I just tried the demo again and I see the same issue. If I hit cancel (after it says download was not activated) it tells me the download was not activated. If I activate manually, I see the same problem.
