RC-40 is the Universal Remote Control protocol developed by Viestra. Viestra began offering RC-40 remote codes in 2009. The purpose of RC-40 is to allow for the interoperability of a television that has been programmed only with the Viestra RC-40 universal remote.

I bought a new tv and I was surprised to find that the instructions for programming the remote were very hard to find or this a program you want me to do. I am a information technology I am simpy not sure where you can program it from the instructions you sent me it is very hard to follow. I even checked where you went wrong on your instructions and it is not where you would think. I am very confused and hopefully you can help me. I have a Kubota Bluetooth remote. I don't know what I'm doing, and unless I'm missing something, I don't think there are codes for the remote in the online site. Do I submit this message or is there anything else I can do.

I switched from my old Sony TV set t.v to the new one. The remote is already programmed with codes of my old set, so I enter them in the new set and the remote work fine, but there are some function such as EPG or AM/FM which doesn't function in the new set, it doesn't switch channels, it doesn't change
